September 21, 2006, Vancouver, B.C., Canada: Newswire: VoIPMDU.COM (www.voipmdu.com) today announced that it has changed its name to VoIP-PAL.COM Inc. and its corresponding stock symbol from VPMD to VPLM to in order to more accurately reflect the business activities of the Company.
The Company has recently completed its restructuring process with the cancellation of 4,000,000 shares (See Press Release dated March 24th, 2006.) which effectively changes the total number of issued and outstanding shares to 39,908,400. The total number of authorized shares now stands at 50,000,000.
VoIP-PAL.COM has also appointed Jerry Philip, former Vice President and co-founder of Points.com to direct the Company’s marketing efforts of its VoIP-PAL billing platform for VoIP products and long distance discount plans.
